Temperance Brewing Co. + Bite Cafe Beer Dinner
Bite Cafe welcomes Evanston’s first brewery, Temperance Brewing Co. On Wednesday, November 15 at 6 p.m., we’ll offer a three course beer dinner featuring seasonally inspired dishes by Executive Chef Zack Sutton and an array of Temperance Brewing’s most noteworthy brews.
Tickets are $35, and may be purchased online in advance or at the restaurant on November 15. Walk-ins are welcome.

Hushpuppies with Pimento Cheese
Paired with Birdsong, a saison with local honey and hints of a peppery sweetness 6.1% ABV
Tempura shrimp cocktail with Old Bay cocktail sauce
Paired with Gatecrasher IPA, an English-style IPA with bountiful aromatic hops and a touch of malt sweetness 6.6% ABV
Crispy pork belly wedge salad with buttermilk dressing and black pepper croutons
Paired with Escapist IPA, an American IPA with four types of aromatic hops 6.7% ABV
Duck leg confit with rye bread stuffing and mustard jus
Paired with Restless Years, a pale ale with rye and sweet hints of tropical aromatic hops 5.8% ABV
Littleneck clam gumbo over rice, okra
Paired with Smittytown, an English-style Amber 5.5% ABV
